I’ve been in my new house over a week. And still no internet. I have found one huge problem with 80 year old houses. They do not have phone lines suitable for DSL and they have never had cable hook-ups. How did anyone ever live before high-speed internet! ARGHhhhh!

So…I’m at work now so I’m using my work computer for this puny little post. Now, I’m here on my own time so I’m NOT stealing from my employer. I don’t have to be here until next week actually. So I’m taking this time to…well, whine I guess about the unfainess of the millions of years it seems to be taking to get my computer working.

But…in case anyone decides to stop by my almost non-existant blog (for the time being)…I will be back…eventually. And I am really missing all this. The worst part is I cannot check my e-mail. At all. Not even here. It’s blocked for some reason. I guess they don’t want teachers spending all day on their blog or checking their e-mail. (If you have a Blogger blog…I can’t view those at all, they are WebSensed!)

Now, for something a bit more positive. The move went really well. My house is still far from organized(I have about 8 huge boxes of things I have no idea what to do with sitting in my living room, I have no bar in my closet to hang things from, and my bathroom sink still doesn’t work!) but we are managing. My children seem to have adjusted well…which is good. They are quite comfortable. And I am loving the shorter (by 30 minutes) drive to work and church.

No pictures for awhile because I cannot get to them from this computer. But maybe soon. I am hoping so!
